Technical
education is the education which gives special skills in some subjects. It
means theoretic and practical acquaintance in using machines and instruments we
not only get the theoretical knowledge about some subjects but also know how to
handle the machines to produce a variety of, things. Technical education is the
reverse of educational education. In academic
education. We get only the theoretical knowledge. We do not get
practical knowledge. Civil, motorized,, chemical, electrical and
telecommunication, engineering, agriculture. Mining, weaving, potteries are
some examples of technical education.
In ancient
time artisians produced things with the help of their hands. They could not
produce large quantities of goods. The cost of produce was also comparatively
higher. But due to the progress of science, improved machines have been
invented. With the help of such machines, artisians can manufacture large
quantities of goods. The present is the age of machines. The western countries
of the world have progressed because of the knowledge of technical education.
Technical
education helps for the progress of the country. A country can prosper in the
fields of agriculture, industry, transport and communications and other
developmental fields by the help of Technical education. Technicians can follow
the improved methods of agriculture and produce better and big quantities of
crops. They can operate machines in the industries and can manufacture large
quantities of goods. They can operate telephones and wireless sets. They can build,
the bridges, roads, factories, canals etc. they can drive cars. Fly aero horizontals.
Technicians can help for the progress of each developmental activity.
Technical education helps the nation to be
self-dependent. If we do not have adequate technicians, we have to bring the
technicians from other countries and we have to pay a lot of money for them. If
other countries do not provide such man power, our developmental actives will
be stopped. In our country many development activities are stopped due to the
lack of adequate technicians.
